Smile Stalling problems

Hello! So I have this problem where my 2002 3,2 DiD Pajero stalls ocasionally. It happened for the first time when I was offroading but, I brushed it off as nothing, because I thought that fuel pump sucked air in when I was going on steep hills ( I was low on fuel). Then I drove it for roughly 5 months on and off road and it ran perfectly, but then it stalled on me at the traffic light and a few times offroad on the same day, so I immediately thought that my injection pump is bad. Now
three or four months of driving both on and off road and everything is perfect: no smoke, smooth idle, starts alright, revs great, accelerates great. I already talked with a mechanic about injection pump and fuel tank replacement. What do you think could be the problem?
Thanks
P.S. After stalling it started up like it normally does, but stalled when gas pedal was pressed, no matter gently or hard.

Thank you for your response! I may try a fix from that forum, but my engine stalls only when gas pedal is pressed, otherwise it idles great and starts normally hot or cold. As far as I understand that person had problems when starting an already hot engine.

Try cleaning the throttle pedal control connector.

Long grey connector at the throttle pedal.

Disconnect, spray with electrical cleaner and reconnect.
