    driving light install problem

    Hey everyone,

I finally got around to installing my Rallye 4000's yesturday. I was using a Narva relay kit and I also have a wiring upgrade using one of these..

I've the it hooked up but my low beam stays once I've turned the lights off..

I'm not sure what to do..

Without seeing how you have wired it I would say check every connection made.

Swap the high and low beam relay over to rule them out.

Do you spots only come on with high beam?

Everything works as it should. Spots come on as they should.. but the headlights wont turn off until I turn the key off..

I had an issue when I spliced into the high beam wire to activate the coil, I also earthed the other side of the coil to earth on the body. The spotties worked for the first day then died after that. Buggered 2 relays trying to work it out.

Ended up taking the earth wire to the earth on the rear of the headlight connector and have had no issues since.

Sounds like you've tapped into the wrong wire and it's closing the headlight circuit. The headlights are a fairly simple circuit and shouldn't be to hard to pinpoint where the issue is.
So to be clear, it's just the low beams that stay on when the ign key is set to on regardless of headlight switch position(i.e off, parker and low beam= the low beams are on)?
Do the low beams turn off when you select high beam?
And i'm guessing by your previous post that your spotties turn on with the high beam and your high beams turn on and off fine with the headlight switch?
What wire did you connect the spotties relay trigger wire too?
