Here's a couple of short 2 minute videos.
The video from Kyrgyzstan (Altyn Arashan) is of a route typically plied by big ex-army Russian 4 and 6 wheel drive trucks that have been adapted to transport tourists. I knew it would be a tough route in there, but I didn't learn until after we did that route that it is reputed to be a tough route that is too difficult for some 4wd's. This is owing to some really big rocks that you can't go around - in places the track is squeezed between the river and the cliff, so you have to be able to drive over big rocks, between the axles. My lifted Pajero handled it with relative ease. A Kyrgystan local told me his American 4x4 (Dodge Durango) can only get about half way up the valley. So again, the Pajero does not disappoint. The video doesn't really show the difficulty, and videos generally don't capture that well, but it was a stunning valley to venture into.
Since those videos were made we've more recently gone off-road over Kyrgyzstan's near 4,000 metre Tolsor Pass. That was incredible! I've not yet made the video from that one, but am slowly working on it. Incidentally I just posted a new blog on my website today.
