I bought a Suzuki SX4 New Years ago. Would’ve bought an ASX but they weren’t sold here yet.

I’d be keen, except I want an Outlander PHEV.

$41,000 for the exceed, if you want AWD. A Jap built 1.5 L petrol turbo, 8 speed ?? CVT ugh, with space saver spare, quirky like the Pajero Sport. Struggled with three adults on board on test drive in NT. No low range transmission. Note the diesel was pulled at the last minute. Same as the Chinese decision for their Haval SUV. Only petrol over 2 Litres, last I looked.

Makes the time proven, Jap built Grand Vitara Sport, 2.4L petrol 5 seater permanent AWD with low range transmission for $32,500 look a steal. Can still buy them but production has ended.

Getting off topic here but Suzuki kill it with their off road capable little cars. New Jimny coming soon too.

Dealer loaned me an Eclipse Cross the other week while the wife's current model Outlander was in for its 15000 service. Lovely responsive little 1.5 turbo petrol and CVT, nice ride and handling, and quiet to drive. I would like that powertrain grafted into the Outlander in place of its underpowered 2.0 engine. Nice job Mitsubishi.
