Why would you want to fit an adjustable panard rod anyway?
Max rear lift on the PB/PC Challenger is 40mm to still be legal.
The factory panard rod length is fine.

Pajero Sport and the PB/PC Challenger has identical rear suspension so my comments are the same.
Why would you need an adjustable panard rod if you are only lifting the suspension 40mm?

For a bit of fun (and mental exercise) I took measurements and did the geometry & calculations for the fixed length Panhard Rod.

I'm already lifted, but for an additional 50mm of lift the rear end would be skewed by 4mm.

Not something I would be worried about personally, but purists might be.

Wheel was sticking out by 10mm more then other side ... my calculations where also close (5mm) ... so I am guessing when Laden will sit perfectly ..

I put an adjustable panhard on the rear of Shorty before it went in for inspection after being engineered in SA. With the lift, EXTRA wheel offset and wider tyres I didn't want to take any risks with being told one side was outside the guard. Adjustable panhard centred the axle again and reduced the risk of being rejected.

                  Passed first time.

Thank God for Pythagoras - where would we be without him?

I have a mate and a few of us call him 'Pythagoras'. Why? Well, it's not perfectly relevant to old Pythy, but this bloke has always got an 'angle'.
