    Nippon max fuel filter WCF104

    Hi all!

I can't find any information on forums regarding WCF104 fuel filter. Are they good or not? I'm thinking of buying a set of 3 filters(A1449 Sakura, z372 Nippon Max, WCF104(Z699) Nippon Max) from sydney filters for $60.
On ebay it that set was sold 101 times.

    2nd question.
Can't find in the book information how often it should be replaced?

I use Nipponmax M0-513 (oil). Used oil analysis does not show anything untoward in regards to solid particulate. Make of that what you will.

Most change their filters every oil change, however used oil analysis also showed me there was no detriment in changing it every 2nd change (15,000Km's) with a drain of the filter on the intermediate change (7500Km's)

Hope that gives you some idea. I've never been able to find its specifications on the net.
MY16 NX GLX5 with just a few bits added. MY14 D-max spacecab, also with a few bits added.

Thank you. I bought yesterday a set of filters. Will see how it goes.

The only question is regarding a bolt at the bottom.
Is that supposed to use for draining old oil from the filter after 7500km without the changing that filter?

Yes, fleetguard filters are similar with the bolt at the bottom of the filter

I also run a Nippon Max oil filter. I have not cut one in half but they are constructed well.
