    4d56 Tappet Clearances

    Hi all,

Im newer to the mitz world and have a quick question.

I needed to do my tappet cover gasket due to leaking and while having the cover off and not knowing if the previous owner last adjusted the Tappet Clearance, I figured I would checked and adjust accordingly. So I found this thread and followed the instructions

So i completed the first adjustment, but my question is on the rotating the 360 degrees. I rotated the 360 but it appears to bring it back to the first adjustment.

Now to verify, Im suppose to be rotating the crank pulley 360 correct? TIA

I haven't had anything to do with the 4D56 engines, ut all 4 stroke engines run the camshaft at half the crankshaft speed. The 360 Degrees rotation means the crankshaft, so you adjust the other inlet and exhaust valves (ie the camshaft only turns 180 degrees).
