2.6 to 2.5TD conversion
hi all, been searching all over for a thread detailing this conversion as i am looking into doing this swap. If anybody has links to other threads outlining this swap please post here, would love to read into it!
otherwise i have found a complete 2.5TD (minus the turbo) with the gearbox, transfer, and diesel taco/dash... possibly for free as the old paj it's in is pretty well destroyed - has been rolled.
As far as i've read, this is a straight swap yeah? no need to cut/weld anything, all he mounts are the same - engine & gearbox mounts yeah? it's missing the turbo though which is no drama, i'd be looking to upgrade anyway, i work in mining and have a pretty good budget to get the old 2.5td going again
any info regarding this swap would be greatly appreciated!
