How did you clear the ABS fault from the ECU?

I've got an intermittent fault that comes and goes as it pleases. It brings up all the traction control, abs, asc and handbrake lights. When those lights are up on the dash I can read a code but can't clear it. If I start the car and the lights go away I can clear the stored code.

        Razor:
Thanks for the reply. Intermittent faults - aren't they lovely? I don't have any flashing lights on the car now, so I guess I don't have any faults, but I still cannot clear the stored ones. I have asked ICarsoft in the US about this. Am waiting for a reply.

You need to diagnose the problem first before any code can be cleared.

the heading should be about your codes/issue rather than a scan tool you're not sure how to use, if i was you i would take it to a professional

I dont think this has anything to do with the scan tool. It works fine for me and i purchased one for my Holden that works perfect.

Do any of you blokes actually know what you are doing under a bonnet?

No one knew of the scan tool and now have a listen to you all

            Bunch of Numpties LOL

This was a hilarious read, You all got a scan tool and now you’re all the experts and it must be the scan tool!

Pull your airbag wire under the seat, get the fault and let us know if it clears it. Worst case you will need a trip to Mits with a mutt.

Post your actual code and issue than someone might be able to help, I doubt very much it’s the scan tool and if you have a basic understanding of how they work you would get why I’m making this comment

You say a low voltage, what low voltage? What sensor?

I don’t understand how you had the codes but expected the scan tool to just remove them if you have not diagnosed anything?
Any half arsed mechanic would know this, maybe I’m missing something

Looks like you have plenty of cooks in the kitchen though
