Plus 1 on the steering pump. Easy call to make now though. Just make sure the system relief valve is part of the pump or part of the steering box that you have already changed, and not some where else. Not sure on this system.

the other thing to check for is failed hoses if it has a kink in it this will give symptoms similar or the same as mentioned and if it has delaminated and the inner is collapsing it can also cause issues1994 NJ 3.0 now with a 2000NL 3.5 engine and driveline, 2.5 catback, 32" MT Deegan 38's, 1" body lift, front diff drop with front tension rods indexed and cranked an 3", 3" on the rear coils
