Slight swoosh sound when applying brakes

    Hi guys
    2012 NW 3.2L TDD.
    Done 308,000kms.

I have noticed a slight swoosh sound in the brake pedal when i apply the brakes.

Is this a cause for concern at all?

I inspected the HBB and did a brake fluid flush (bled the lines but did not activate the ABS solenoids) last year.

Swoosh sound was there both before i did that and after.

Hi the shwooh sounds could be a lot of things, like when you put your foot on the brakes it uses vacuum for the booster so you could be taken all vacuum out then when you start your car vacuum back. Could be a hole in the brake booster diaphragm. Leaking@*$#Vacuum Line: Your@*$#brake booster@*$#is supplied with vacuum from the engine via a vacuum hose. It's usually located near the firewall. If this hose has a@*$#leak, it can be heard within the cabin. ... Signs that the master cylinder is@*$#leaking@*$#into the@*$#brake booster@*$#include low fluid in the reservoir with no visible@*$#leaks.

      Thx will check.

Havnt noticed any drop in brake fluid.
I thought the pajero didnt use vacuum as it has the little pump in the HBB?
