    HELP- Torque Pro settings

    Hi,

Have just installed our mk3.1 SPV EGR module & would like to confirm that the EGR % is always 0.
Have downloaded Torque Pro for Android phone & also have OBD2 bluetooth plugged in.
Just wondering if you guys could help me with the appropriate setting that I have to choose on Torque to show the EGR percentage??
Can only find EGR error & EGR commanded as options on the Torque app.

Thanks in advance for your help. It us really appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Sam

I would have thought it was the EGR value...

      Sorry Dick01,

It was actually EGR command , not EGR value & the only other option was EGR error.

Hopefully someone is familiar with the app & can let me know how to check the EGR %.

      Cheers,
      Sam

        EGR on Torque Pro

I use Throttle Position, 100% is fully open, 0% closed. The mod stops the EGR opening and keeps the throttle open except when the ignition is turned off, then you see Throttle Position drop to 0%. Haven't been able to get any EGR readings.

Can anyone else please confirm the correct Torque Pro setting to ensure EGR is at 0%.

          Thanks,

            So M&M,

Are you saying that the throttle position on the Torque Pro app, should be at 100% (when the cars running) to confirm that the EGR module is functioning fully & keeping the EGR valve fully closed???

            Thanks,
            Sam

I just use the EGR Commanded gauge, this works for me no problem. With SPV EGR mod active, it is always at 0%. If I unplug the Mod it fluctuates as expected.
I did just check it and for some reason the gauge was reading 'No Data' so I just deleted and re-added the gauge and all seems ok again.

                Sounds great stevemc181.

This is what we tried doing & had the exact same results- with the mod unplugged & the Pajero as standard the gauge fluctuated constantly & with the SPV module plugged in it was always at 0.

Think that this confirms all is well with the module.

                Thanks for your input.

                Cheers,
