should be my NJ had all the wiring already there and was plug and play - but be aware different models have different plugs (NJ unit wont work with NL loom etc) and also there are sensors needed for oil pressure and ambient temps. Requires the recess to be cut out of the center of the dash as well but a steady hand and a snap blade knife will sort that

Thanks for that, was hoping it was the case
had to replace the plugs on the window switches to fit the trims from my 94 GLS
will prob have to do same with gauges.

You certainly can. Alex86 did so although it wasn't "plug and play" in his case. Necessary wiring was pretty easy though. He posted a thread somewhere with pics but I can't find it - limited computer skills, sadly.

thanks for the link but cant open pics also
was hoping the plug was their for gauges cause the ones for the locker switch and pump are in their right spots just need to find the one in the back now so the ABS dont go silly.
Cant do dual batt in normal spot because of the gas kit. Might keep or just fit original tank and have duals for longer range. Dont really know yet.
Will check under body after 2" body lift and see if I can jam a batt or two under their?
            Wonder if its been done?

For those sick of photobuckets new policy apparently there is another workaround for us (depending on the browser one uses)

It appears that the firefox ones in google search dont want to work but this one does https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-recentlyadded

                        all fitted and working
had to change harness for clock and gauges, removed from donor vehicle. the plugs can be found behind switches on left lower dash area, behind the rear demister switch i think it was. plugged in new harness fitted oil pressure sender and attached second plug on sender unit wire (it was about an inch from the one that works the idiot light)
                        all works perfect.
                        Thanks for the help.

                          Inclinometer is cool.

When I was a youngin’, my old man’s NG Pajero had one. I sat in the middle seat in the back so I watched that thing every day.

Lost all its fluid only a few months before my dad sold it in 2012... 22 years, pretty amazing reliability.

Beats the hell out of the rubbish LCD display on the fourth gen.
