Default NX Door Trim Removal

Hi all,

I was wondering, how can I remove the door cards (trims) from the NX Exceed?

I'm seriously struggling to get even 1 off :-(

Can you please help me?

Thank you so much!

Lex

I haven't taken the door trims of my NS as yet, but I suspect it would be similar to every other doortrim I've ever taken off. Screws in door handle and behind door lever, then brute force and ignorance. Start at the bottom and pull, work your way up.

The problem is, I've been reading there's clips behind the door handle surround. And that's the part I'm really stuck. I rather ask twice then fix once ;-)

Hmmm.. Hopefully somebody who's had their door trims off their gen4 will be able to help.

Awesome, thank you!

Sadly he skips the step of the door handle (inside) and how the surround has to be removed

Around the door handle is a pain. I had mine off over easter to install speakers. Need to poke around a bit with some flat blade screw drivers along the top edge. There is a clip there in the middle that you kind of push off. Then pull from the top out and then up. You think you might break something, but i was pretty brutal trying to get it out and all was good

There are small plastic tabs on the top that are attched to the door handle flick these off first with a small screw driver and a trim removal tool then push the steel tab down and pull the surround out from the top
