Very nice its gonna be bloody expensive in Australia compared to the old 4 door sedans, i reckon it will flop.

Already confirmed 2000 orders...thats why there is a delay in it coming here. Ford didnt expect such a good response.

Gotta love a v8

estimate on pricing between $65k-$70k

yes nothing sounds as good as a V8 on tap

I rented the base model Mustang V8 in the US a few years ago for a road trip to Las Vegas - the acceleration & resultant soundtrack was lots of fun!

Cheers,
Stephen

Hey

The attached article says sales of 10% to 15% of orders would be the 4 cylinder...........surely not; who on earth would buy that

Cheers Glenn

Who would buy that? Posers. Same as people that buy the four cylinder 2.3 litre Jaguar. At least they are both turbo.

It's a bit harsh describing anyone who buys the 4 pot as a poser.

There are a few good reasons to go for the 4 cylinder turbo.
It's $10k cheaper, it (according to reviews I've read) still goes pretty well and actually handles better than the V8, and it will have significantly better fuel economy and range.

That said, if I bought one it would be the V8.
