We were very happy to recieve this email from one of our customers who recently got the Lock Up kit installed.
Rodney, I recently installed a torque convertor lock up into my 2010 MN Triton diesel twin cab 4 x 4, at your premises. I just want to let you know how happy I am with the results. I operated the lock up in LOW 4wd for the downhill descents during a recent visit to the high country as I had intended, and it worked faultlessly. The Triton has limited braking due to the drum brake rear end and this unit certainly gave me peace of mind.
Lock up on the highway is great, as I regularly tow 2.2ton machinery all over Victoria for work. I haven?t worked out fuel savings as this was NOT the basis to fit the unit, but the drive factor is certainly enhanced.
Your staff treated me with a professional and courteous manner, and the job was done in a quick time frame to get me back on the road, thank you to them.
Thanks also to Dave Howard who spoke of the units benefits in his car and endorsed its practical merits for off-road and highway use.
