Hi guys. Son has killed his triton motor 4d56hp. Looking at buying donor vehicle or a motor off ebay. His car was a 4x4 auto does it matter if donor car is a manual/and or a 2wd version. Just not sure with computers etc if any wiring or connectors are different which will throw computers out. Cheers Rod.

2wd is lower power, so not suitable. Has smaller turbo and higher compression ratio.
Auto or manual, they are the same, so no problems there.
As for finding a good HP motor? If you get one with engine number CZZ or CZY they will be new motors that have been replaced previously, however they could have overheating issues, like all 4D56 HP do.
If you can get low kms with other engine number then it might possibly be more reliable.2024 Outlander
