Rim Fitment

Hi first time poster from Qld. Had my NK pajero for about 6 years now and although not an extreme 4Wder still like to take it off the beaten track namely Fraser. My Question of the day is about rim fitment i have seen posts about not being able to fit late alloy rims to the earlier models. What about the narrower steel rims of the later models? Do they fair any better?

The Drama is that the later model Pajero's, NM onwards, had a smaller centre bore in the rim, and will no go over the hub on the earlier models. All the earlier models do bolt on though.

However, most other 6 six 4WD's do have the same stud pattern and centre bore, which is why there's a few running Patrol or Landcruiser rims. You just have to be careful of some offsets.
