My Safari snorkel required a 102mm holesaw.

Step drill is a good idea for the other holes as well.

The inner panel (s) have a tendency to grip the holesaw due to a number of layers of metal.

I think the snorkel I have is a safari copy, if I measure the outlet pipe that goes through the guard how much bigger should I go

My intake pipe is a tight fit through the guard and I used a 4" (102mm) holesaw. Hardly a bee's whisker in it.

If you centre your holesaw arbor in the front mounting hole for the coolant overflow bottle then the intake pipe should be in the correct position. There's some flexibility in the right angled piece that attaches to the airbox which gives you some leeway.

IIRC I used a 114mm holesaw and it worked OK.
