Are you getting front and rear for $90? That sounds cheap for Bendix. Normally around $80 a set. Just did my front today at 106K but my rears needed doing at round 60k which I found a little strange but they were well worn.

Personally I think EBC pads are better than Bendix. Cheaper too.
          Cheers, John.

Was it an easy job? did you have to buy new caliper bolts or locknut? cheers Michael

It's very easy, no need to remove calipers. Just remove the pins and pads slide out. I removed the calipers though as I got the discs machined due to a bit of runout.

I've always used Bendix 4wd and never had a problem. But this time used a generic brand the brake place recommended, $50 compared to $85. So far car still seem to stop as before.

                      Hi all
used these as well front and back, also replaced original rotor with rda sloted so far no issues.

why is it that rear were all worn out but fronts were only half????can it be of the fact that sottons mitsu arnclife service guys (not the only thing got wrong on the car) left air in all four brakes????

Seem odd to me, it's usually the fronts to go first as the apply the most braking force.

                          Probably only changed the fronts.

last time car was at the mm dealer was at 30k service and 45k at a local mechanic this is when i asked to be changed to bendix but he said they are still OK, also i was keeping an eye on them can confirm for sure that thaey were original pads.

However rear compared to front pads are realy skinny. Ive replaced pads many times before and never seen something like that.

Rear pads wear fast because of electronice brakeforce distibition and traction control ect

If your steering angle sensor is off it will wear even faster

Remember compared to a traditional braking system

Paj is electronically contolled and rear brakes are used for a lot more things than just helping the car stop.
