Love the matt green. I agree on the black sidesteps and grill.

What calibre is that rifle, the magazine looks huge?

It looks GREAT . I will do it myself too.
Any special requirements for Plasti Dip ?

I think Mitsubishi Star is good as black , or should it be another colour ?

P.S. A friend just told me that Plasti-Dip may not be a good idea if I wash the car with Jet Stream water..... Is that true ?

The stuff it bloody tough. I've pressure washed mine plenty of times with no ill effect.
Secret is in preperation. You need a perfectly clean surface to spray.

                Youtube it.

Plastidip is a great option for those that can't commit to pain (like me )

I originally had a grey rear bumper bar but plasti'd it matte black and now it looks ace.

I can post photos of a before after when I get home if anyone needs more proof

Goodsy that grill looks great, I'd go with a chrome badge though to break it up a bit

I was thinking of the Mitsi badge back to the original silver, but red could look good too.

.300 win mag and 8 rounds! Are you not a very good shot

These are not your regular feral hogs, these are 300kg Wild Boars and we need even stronger calibers like 9.3x62 or 375 HH

It's a Steyr, you're actually looking at what is essentially the magazine well so it looks a little bigger than it otherwise might.

I don't mind these wraps. The OD green looks good and I like the look of that desert camo scheme as well. I might look at doing something like that myself. Plasti dip looks good as well.

I was off to a wild boar driven hunt this weekend and now that I am back I will goto my local paint store and get a Matte Black Plasti-Dip.

My question is should I scrape off the chrome bits on the front grille ? Or should I just clean it very carefully. Somebody told me I should make scratches on the Chrome Parts of the grille so that plasti-dip holds better ?

All I did was clean the grille with some car wash and a sponge, let it dry and then did the grille with 4 layers of plastidip, the first one being very thin. Is holding up well and looks tougher!
