Nl waterpump

hi everyone I think my waterpump has let go.
Theres a terrible noise and now starting to leave a small puddle of coolant when the motor is turned off.
1 whats a good brand to get because this is the second repco one to let go if it is this in 60k
2 will i need to get a new timming belt kit

I dont shop at Repco, I bet you paid a lot for that pump. My Ebay pump is up to 115000 k's, if you know when the belt was done and it has lot of life left dont stress but make sure it goes back on rotating the same way, MARK IT otherwise buy a kit with pump.

Go with a truflow pump with backing plate, comes with backing plate preassembled and with a block gasket.
Little bit dearer then a gmb pump and aftermarket backing but worth it.

well got me a new water pump with all the bits also ordered frm mitsi a harmonic balancer bolt and also for my peace of mind will get a new timming kit. Goes into mechanics next Wed being in small town with no mitsi dealer here anymore makes getting parts take a bit longer but hopefully next week it will be all back to normal
