Meaning they are now shearing each others crumple zones.
If you follow newtons laws mathematically a train will have stopped dead on impact with a fly.

No matter how Newtons law is applied and interpreted it doesnt stop accidents.
Fly vs train. Fearless Fly would stop the train.
