NP vacuum one way valve direction

So I was replacing all the vacuum hoses on my 3.2 DID for the solenoid under the airbox.

Being the numpty that I am, I disconnected the line that goes from the solenoids to past the front of the engine without checking which direction the plastic one way valve faces.

So does the little arrow point towards or away from the solenoids??

I think that the arrow points in the direction of the air flow. If so it would be away from the solenoid.

Yup. Ended up running the engine and seeing where vacuum was coming from. Comes from the engine so you're right, the arrow punts towards the vacuum so away from the solenoid. All working perfectly again. Thanks

Thanks Stu I know which way the check valve flows- just wasn't sure which way round it goes in the pipe that goes from the solenoid across the front of the engine. All sorted.
