Hi all, have been wondering ever since I've had the paj what the hell this is? Does anyone have any ideas,
Cheers
It's not the factory reverse camera, but are you sure it's not an aftermarket camera? Have you checked inside the wheel cover? Can you post a photo of the back of it?
NT Platinum. DiD Auto with 265/70R17 ST Maxx, Lift, Lockers, Lockup Mate, Low range reduction, LRA Aux tank, bull bar, winch, lots of touring stuff. Flappy paddles. MMCS is gone!
Project: NJ SWB. 285/75R16 ST Maxx, 2" OME suspension, 2" body lift, ARB 110, 120l tank, bullbar, scratches, no major dents. Fully engineered in SA. NW DiD & auto in place - a long way to go....
The factory reverse camera is up between the number plate lights, so if there isn't one there & your car has a working camera display, then this is probably a camera - get someone to watch the screen whilst you look into it
its a reverse camera, i have one in the same spot. my screen is in the center mirror. Someone may have changed the camera to a better spot or had it setup with 2 cameras???
I have a feeling they were an option for the non mmcs cars.
Bit of a long shot but could it be one of those spare wheel extended valve add-ons that avoids having to take the spare wheel cover off when filling or checking pressure?
