    New battery in key remote?

I've noticed one of the key remotes I got with the NS VRX isn't locking/unlocking the car using the buttons. It works fine manually in the lock and starts the car fine.
Is it simply a case of undoing the screw that holds it together and replacing the battery or does it involve recoding the key to the car when the battery is replaced?
Does anyone know what type of battery is required.
    Regards Andrew.

I have not long replaced the battery in the spare key for my NS, just unscrew the little screw and peel the covers apart, then i think there is an inner piece which splits apart as well. New battery in and worked fine. Didn't need to reset anything.

Thanks Trinno it's much appreciated, that makes another job for me to get organised. At least it's an easy one.

Thanks placido, CR1616 was correct and the remote is working perfectly.
