I am after some Info on the Front ECU in the Fuse box for a NM 2000 petrol. Mine has a faulty relay for my lights and I have found it hard to find a new one, was told by Mitzi Motors I would have to get one form Japan at the cost of my left lung as nil are stocked in Australia. Part Number TYPE -AA MR515657. There are different numbered ones available and would say the difference is that they are for Exceeds etc with more accessories hanging off them. I am thing of rewiring it and going around the unit. Any third party companies make these?

Try Amayama.com. online parts company used by many on here. Just be mindful of pastage costs but many have found it cheaper.
Just put the part number in, which I have just done and looking at high $200 plus postage.

OK found myself a second hand replacement and now my lights work and also my intermittent windscreen wipers and tail lights. I am still interested in what other Model Pajero's have in the Fuse box Mine Model is 2000 NM GLX 3.5 Petroland to know what the physical difference in these units are. Could one from another model be used in another model? Would be good to get a list for future referance, so if anyone wishes to add to this it would be welcome.Comment

Before buying a replacement, is it worth opening this up and seeing what the problem might be inside? I've found old switches and relays often just need the contact faces cleaned up to work properly againComment
