What are the defects?

The structure of the front deck of the vehicle allows water intrusion onto the windshield wiper motor, which is drawn into the motor's breather hole as it cools down after use.

This can cause internal parts of the front windshield wiper motor to rust or seize up and the wipers may become inoperative.

My son had a 2010 ASX Diesel Aspire – beautiful vehicle – lovely to drive and everything, HOWEVER – when something went wrong Mitsubishi couldn’t fix it and it soon turned into a big bottomless money pit !! My faith in Mitsubishi went out the window with that one.
