plans for side rails/side steps

Howdy all,

Im looking at putting some decent side steps on the Paj, and was hoping someone out there had already put together some plans. I have someone lined up to put them together for me and it would be a whole lot easier if we had a plan to go by rather than starting from scratch.

I didnt build them but my nk has a decent set on it, i will post some photos tonight.

I just made it up as i went, but you get the idea.



I'll see if i can find a finished pic, they have bracing on then now.

They also look much better after they were painted, i'm not sure if this is what you meant but you could easily add another bit of tube to the outside then checkerplate the top if you wanted more of a step..

Not really any plans as such...

... and I didn't really want steps, more just sill protection. But the kids use them to climb into the car.

Playing with trailers, I found Galvanized 'U'bolts for boat trailers...



I might look at doing something a bit different down the track...
