    Failed ECU

Hello i posted recently about my car stopping and throwing a fault code U1100 and not going again, just thought id post where im at and see if there is any advice out there, I found a linkable engine fuse blown under bonnet and after days of thinking im getting closer then seeming to be futher away from finding issue, today i found if i unplug 1 of the 2 ECU plugs the one closest to fire wall under glove box the fuse doesn't blow, I am now trying to understand what steps to take next, I do have a auto electrician coming on Wed but any thing i can continue to do in the meantime may help getting car running again sooner.
    Cheers Craig

You didn't or don't have a OBII scanner connected do you?
