Exclamation Trouble Finding replacement Heater Hoses 2.6 Astron

Having trouble finding some new hoses , i need both the hoses to the heater core . Have checked at supercheap and repco.








85 LWB Petrol NB







Any help would be great thanks

Search on Gates hoses revealed the part numbers, pic below. Had a look o n Ebay and have them listed, pic below.

I have seen these but they look to be incorrect hoses , and im not game enough to spend 38 dollars on a hose that might not even fit. I have decided to use a VN commodore heater hose , as it is long enough to be cut in half and give me both the required bends/angles.

I actually ended up using some 20 mm right angle plumbing fittings as it means if i am ever stuck on the side of the road i can just use some straight hose and not have to worry about sourcing a particular hose . It clears the intake manifold and the throttle cable nicely and seems to be working great but only time will tell i guess.



Just wanted to provide some closure to the thread.
