Default Equalizer/bridal recovery strap

Nw pajero As the front does not have a propery recovery point as such, but have been led to believe by using a equalizer you can use these to points as one using the equalizer strap. What are your opinions on this and is this the way to do a front snatch recovery
Found this one equalizer strap at supercheap

When recovering using any recovery points be they factory or aftermarket it is always best to use an equaliser strap unless it is a low load recovery or using the towbar hitch receiver.

Digging up an old thread here I realise but I thought you didnít wanna use any more shackles than necessary and using an equaliser strap adds an extra point of failure. But I guess this is countered by the fact that each shackle on the factory recovery loops takes less strain. Agreed?
