I do know that any door blocks out the auto locking function. My wife is as slow as a wet week (I am safe 'cause she never comes near a computer!), and I usually have to wait for ages whilst she gets her rrse into gear. Occasionally I try to lock the car, thinking she has finished, but nothing happens...Originally posted by nj swb View PostComment

On my NW I often unlock the back door first to load my shopping, and then find the drivers door is still unlocked when I am ready to enter and drive off. So that auto locking "feature" doesn't operate on the NW if I just unlock and then open the back door - which is how it should beOriginally posted by Ian H View Post

I just checked my NS - the auto lock gets turned off when you open the back door. Driver side still open 2 minutes later.
