Hi All,
Since i reshaped my rear bumper i have been looking at options to fix this problem.
So i have created my own rear skid plate which mounts to the same place as the tow bar.
I have attached some photos even though they are not the best to give you some idea as to what i did.
I have used 4mm laser plate, yet to test it in anger to see how it performs.
Yet to decide on zinc plating or powder coating.

Well done! Now that's the solution I was after! Would you have a profile and folding drawing of that? A dxf file for laser cutting? Would you mind sharing it?

Not sure about supplying files and drawings as i might start producing them if people are interested in them.
Things tend to get shared around a bit too much with out approval, and before you know it your ideas are being used by others to make some extra money.

Have not worked out pricing, thought i would get some reviews first to see if anyone was interested.
The issues i see with producing these is there seems to be some variations in what people have around there tow bar.( ie plugs and stuff ) that may conflict.
Mine suits a genuine Mitsi tow bar.
If you didn't have a tow bar then that changes things again.

You could make them to suit standard tow bar then the customer can cut to suit.
