    Cooper ST Maxx as spare

Can anyone running Cooper ST Maxx 265/65/R17 advise me if there is any problem fitting the spare inside the rear garnish and upper-hemisphere wheel cover on an NW? It's the standard size tyre for a NW, so I expect it should be OK, but just want to be sure the extra rubber won't make it too squeezy. Thanks.

Do they come in a 265/65?

I thought they only came in 265/70?

My 265/70 fits in the garnish..but i doubt itd fit in the half cover as its tight enough as it is

Fair enough ..didnt notice them years back when i was looking

Most people go up a profile for more clearance and more sidewall anyways...so that was why i mainly went the 70 profile

Id say your size would possibly work...but dunno if anyone runs the stock size

I'm pretty keen on sticking with the OEM size; among other things, interchangeability with my camper. I'll probably just see if it fits at the tyre shop. If it doesn't I can always keep one of my existing AT3s as a spare or else an older but still good 697, which I know fits into the garnish/cover. Thanks.
