Add factory bluetooth module on MMCS

    Hi all,
I bough a 07 Pajero NS with the Rockford/MMCS system.
I want to add the factory bluetooth module that should include the module, the mic and the 2 keys switch.

I saw a bunch of different refs on ebay (for the module). Does any one know the good part number?
Is a MUT3 use mandatory to set up everything?

    Thank you

    Nick

factory bluetooth in the ns was crap i would go parrot mk9100 or similar all you have to do is find the mute wire push and hold power button i think and set it to mute

and use the relay system with the parrot unit to tap into one of the speaker lines

Thanks for your comment. But the wiring at the back of the MMCS with rockford is not ISO, So no way to plug and play the Parrot system...

        Ok, just bought the MKi9000.
I can find for sell an adaptator but really expensive. Can you describe the procedure you spoke about to connect the MMCS + Rockford to the parrot, and how to get the mute function?
        thanks

I have the MMCS in a NS pajero and I have spend hours looking for the pieces and info I need to get the factory bluetooth into my car.

Has anyone managed to retro fit it and get it working?

Do you know the part numbers required to make it work?

So far all mitsubishi dealer I have called have been useless. I have managed to get the following part numbers but have got no idea if they will work.

          MI-MR935889 - bluetooth kit - $331.10+
          MI-MR936449 - mmcs, bluetooth microphone kit - $66.88+
          MI-MR936541 - switch, bluetooth volume ctrl - $130.90+

          What do I order?

          Cheers

Ok. For those with the mmcs you can get the mic kit of ebay for $50 delivered.

Comes as a full kit, with all the instructions.

Step 1 pull the car into a million pieces.

Then run the mic wire and stick the mic on the window. I put mine on a mark that is already on the window. Like it's there to line it all up.

Then zip tie the mic cable to the existing loom and Then put the cover back on.

Run the wires neatly under the dash and zip tie as required.

Plug the white, black and grey wires in to the factory plug.

              Hook the earth up.

Put is all back together and hey presto. A new icon appears and now the phone works.

It works great for me. Will make some more calls on the way to work tomorrow but so far it's great.

Ok. Factory bluetooth works good, very clear and great connection between the phone and car. Dialling on the run is possible through the stereo for recent dialled numbers or received calls and for those memory points saved with a number.

Only thing is it's way to quiet.

Any ideas on getting this to run louder or possible through the main volume control?

To make the volume louder on the mmcs you need to access the internal settings.

                  Go to the audio screen.
Press 'pwr' to mute the radio.
Tap the screen in the follow order & position.
Top, bottom, top, bottom, top, bottom, left, right. (In the middle of each)
Not go to the service 4 screen by pressing the next option until you get there.
                  Click on the bt button
Adjust volume for mic and speaker until the desired outcome is reached.

I have mine set on 4 for mic & 3 for speaker.

                  Cheers
