    My little yellowfin tuna!

    Most recent catch.

About 18kg, took around 15mins to get up to the surface, he had a few big runs and went down deep.
Wasn't on very heavy gear either (40lb line). He put some serious bend in the rod too.

    Very fun!

Lol. I've never tried sashimi before, not really into seafood, but I had a couple bites of this one- I caught it so may as well give it a go. It's not for me.

Did you dunk it in soy sauce with a blob of wasabi dissolved in it??? That's the shiz.

Sashimi, another word for cat food and bait. There is a great new invention called fire.
Nice catch though, they go hard!

Do you have a hot smoker? When I lived inTassie, pretty much all the fish I caught went straight into the hot smoker with some tas oak chips...deeeee-licious!!!

                        No I don't. Actually I don't think I know anyone with a smoker.
Most of the fish was kept by a few friends where it was caught, a small portion is making its way to the parents. Didn't keep any for me.

I like catching them rather than eating them. Just been down at BCF looking for a new setup or two for next time I go chase tuna...
