          Programming

          Hi m_and_m,

          I have received the Ultraguage but am getting an error for the Auto Temp guage that I have setup.

          I presume that it is something minor

          I have redefined M guage 5 with
          Tdata = 07E12102000000
          Mtch = 210000
          Rpos = 1008
          Tctrl = 93
          Rctrl = 31
          X = :0001 /: 0001 +:FFD8
          Output = 0
          Ave = 0
          Left/Right = 0

          I have put it with KPH on page 6. The KPH does not indicate ERR but AFT does

          I would appreciate your help

          I thought I would just have ATF and KPH on page 6 and Eng temp and Volts on page 7. If you have a recommended better arrangement I would like to hear about that also.

            Hi Craig,

            In the above post, you have "Left/Right" = 0. Others (such as this post) show it set to 30.

            I have no idea what this number means, or if its your problem, but give it a go.

            Also, you have your offset as FFD8 - if your NT is a diesel you should be using FFCE. If you have a petrol you have the Jatco transmission, and I'm not sure which is the correct offset.

                    I know it sounds silly but have you got the ignition on (not just accessories)? With just accessories on, mine will show all readings except trans temp - which displays an error message.

                      Changing FFD8 to FFCE still doesn't work, but previously it went to ERR as soon as you went onto page, now it shows nothing for 5 seconds before giving ERR.

                          You should have the following:

                          TCtrl = 92
                          RCtrl = 10
                          + FFCE
                          Left/Roght = 30

                              Still no luck unfortunately.

                              My Pajero is a 2010 NT, with 3.2 Diesel, and 5 speed Auto.

                                It appears to be a slight difference as to which values should be given. I guess this is because of the CPU and transmission. Is there a document or link to where I can work out what is required.

                                I started with the info on the scanguage site, it only gives one set of values for Pajero which I adapted for Ultraguage. The Ultraguage user guide shows some trouble shooting techniques which I could possibly use but that is hard work if someone has already done it.

                                Does anyone have the same Pagero (2010 NT 3.2 5 speed) which they know the values work on? Then if mine doesn't work, maybe I have a problem in the vehicle itself.

                                The Ultraguage seems to be working correctly and other guages (kph, engine temp etc) are working when I drive the vehicle.
