OK, so not a lot of notice, but some of us are heading to the mouth of the Murray for a pre-Christmas get together, and thought we'd throw it open to the forum. A bbq / lunch / responsible drink or two, all at the mercy of weather conditions on the day.
Typically, we nominate one or two meet points for Adelaide residents who would like to travel in convoy, and others meet at Goolwa Beach - time TBA. I like to head down a little earlier, and have breakfast at the Aqua Caf before meeting up - always happy for others to join me.
Goolwa is easy beach driving, can be done at highway pressures but lowering tyre pressures is easier on the car, and on the beach.
The tides on the day are very friendly - 0.7m and below from mid-morning to after dark. NFI what this means for fishing - perhaps somebody else can chime in?
