NP auto flashing centre diff lock light

After some suggestions !

My paj has developed an intermittent problem with the 2wd/4wd actuator
On start up in 2wd all fine then after 5 mins the orange light begins to flash
Moving the selector to 4wd makes no difference
I have checked the front diff actuator and there is vacuum there when 4wd is selected
However when I replace the hose on the actuator the shaft doesn’t move
Any help appreciated

Have you tried jacking up one wheel (right one is easier) and moving the wheel back and forward while applying the hose?

If there is any load on the solenoid it isn't strong enough to disengage.


Probably safest to chock the other wheels as you're under the jacked car with engine running....


The dreaded flashing light is most commonly one or more of the 5 switches on the transfer box.
