No mate not that I know of ,I think it only tells ya when the power steering oil is getting low in the reservoir just put it back on and you will be fine .Cheers .

Awesome thank you so much Paj96 i'll put it back it was just dangling around in the engine bay,say it while i was cleaning throttle body and idle speed motor.
Looks like power steering pump pressure switch wire.
Guessing you have an auto as they are only needed on the autos to help with engine load at idle while in gear. No damage from not having it on there, idle may stumble a little when full locking at idle but that is about all.
