    NS Diesel ECU tuning

    Hey all,

Anyone here had their NS diesel ECU tuned?

After some tips/products/reputable outlets to tuning the ECU.

I come from a car modifying background so I'm unsure as to how 4WD diesel cars react to power and drivetrain mods.

MRT Performance are about the only people in AU who do ecu tunes using ECUTek. Bit exxy but the gains are impressive.

      Any links to this ECUTek???

Also, I have been reading here about Chip-It. Anyone have one of these installed and what is it like?

bazillions of posts in here about DP chips, Chip-it and Spyder chips - see how you go after a bit of a search and read coz many questions might be answered.

Also, chip-it are good to deal with so you can ask them direct any questions you have.

        Cheers and good luck,
        Gary

PS. sometimes the search function goes out for lunch, but usually works...

PSS. just did a search on the keyword 'chip' got heaps of info so the search is working at present.

Robert at Chip-It is very prompt & patient about answering questions clearing all your doubts. I just completed a 13,000km road trip in 5 weeks with the chip installed and never had a hiccup from my paj, so i can vouch for the reliability/ performance enhancement of the chip-it chip. Plus, its an add on chip so no ECU retuning. You can load different tunes from your laptop depending on your choice of power/torque requirement. Custom tunes can be made by them, and you car can even be tuned remotely. If you want to go back to factory settings you just disconnect the chip.

I'd say go for the chip-it chip. Its definitely worth it.
