Problems with Aeropro CHMB1C Steering Wheel Control Harness on 2007 Outlander

Just been down to the local Auto Retailer and they hinted that there are issues with a Pioneer AVH-X3600DAB installation mated with the Aeropro CHMB1C steering harness on on a circa 2007 Outlander VRX (one with Rockford Fosgate system). As in doesn't work at all due to low voltage output or similar type of problem.

Any of you guys have experience with this combination or similar?
