Searching for breather of turbo solenoid - pic

    Hi all,

I lost this breather from the solenoid as per picture. Anyone knows the part number or where I can source one?

    Many Thanks!

Tracked down the part number for the whole solenoid to this MR258166. I gyess I'll need to find for an alternative, maybe Pirtek?!

Maybe go to a 4x4 shop and ask for a diff breather filter

Wondered what the name of that thing is. I presume it's not critical to the car running?

Pretty sure they are the same as fitted in a multitude of other locations such as the front axle locking actuating solenoid.

I have my doubts they are an effective "filter", since I have yet to notice any filtering material in one of them. Probably only useful for filtering out particles bigger than 3mm.

For a possible better filtering fix maybe a very short length of 3mm vacuum hose with a chainsaw/mover/whippersnipper type fuel filter on the end.

If you go to Pirtek take plenty of lube with you. I used them once, never ever again.

Go to the wreckers as others have suggested.

                    Nice work does the job.
A bit of overkill with the metal spring clamp, full dodge spec would have been all zip ties.
