Default 2010 NT 3.2L Diesel Coolant Sensor

I have just rebuilt my engine and noticed the Temperature gauge does not work.
Do any of the forum members have an idea of the resistance of the sender unit either hot or cold?

I have checked through the Forum Search without luck and also checked the workshop manual without any success.
MM want $78 for a new one, reluctant to pay that, especially if the problem is a wiring open circuit or other issue.
Many thanks in advance for any constructive information.
