10 sec but I have a snorkel so I just blocked that wasn't happy the second I shoved a bag over it my Idle was at abt 1000 (cold car ) hope it helps

I put a rag over the intake inside the air cleaner box

Update chaps.

So i replayced the fast idle air valve and throttle body.
Took plenium chamber off and checked it, put back on.

Made no difference

I did however take the distributor cap off and it looks like something has been flying around it there, Shaft seems to have no play.

Cold engine start

This is my old shortie with a blown manifold gasket.

Na not that mate, Put another motor in it as the other was stuffed. Still does it lol
