I'm sure someone will be along to tell you that it's illegal and there is a huge fine etc etc so lets not talk about that.

In short removing your cat will not result in any over boosting or engine lights. It does however increase the stink coming out the back, enough to make your Mrs complain about it. You could also consider a high flow 100cel cat which is really just a token gesture as it won't pass any emission standard. The benefits of a high flowing cat is getting the hot gases away from the back of the turbo and improving turbo spool.

Yes , fair enough with it not passing emissions and chance of fines .

Problaby will stick with a 200cell . Any thoughts about this one ?

Looks ok. My only usual query with any muffler is what is the internal gas flow path like? For good flow you want the muffler to be a 'straight through' design, not some convoluted path that provides a restriction.

The only muffler in my exhaust is a rear muffler, the rest is 3inch pipe. It's not loud by any means like this. Certainly no drone.

I went straight in the deep end with a Taipan XP exhaust system. Flawless quality, quiet, great ground clearance and a noticeable increase in how the vehicle went. Not cheap though, however I think overall they are good value for money. http://www.taipanxp.com.au/models/mi...2l-nwnx-wagon/
