Hi all,
A few months ago I did the EGR removal initially I did the OHM mod then removed the EGR cooler and cross over pipe blanking the Exhaust manifold and EGR valve.
After having the manifold off last week to do the valve clearance I decided I want to completely removed the EGR valve and blank off the intake manifold hole. I did this using a 5mm ally plate I made similar to the ones provided in the EGR removal kit available on EBAY.
Anyhow this left the plug for the EGR valve open and today it threw the p0405. Code No. P0405: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Position Sensor Circuit Low Input I assumed with having the resistor mod in place in wouldn’t throw any codes however my question is.
My question is if I put in an OHM resistor will I be able to close the circuit? If so what wire will I need to do it on?
