Airbag recall time

Gotta take the NW in next week for airbag swap..recall. Does anyone know how long the job takes? Dont want to be sitting in dealership all day...

With mine they said a day, are doing the light switch as well.

I got to the dealer at 9:15 and left at 10:45.
Having seen the airbag assembly removed and reinstalled while the paddles were being fitted, I would say most of that time was sitting in the queue waiting to be done

1.5 hrs I could handle...Will ring and let em know that I want it done in 90 minutes or else rebook it for when I can wait. Thanks .

30 min before I was about to get into the car, the Dealer called to say "Sorry, parts didn't arrive as promised" - that was after having booked 7 days beforehand and getting the letter saying parts had arrived.

Booked in a week later - all fixed now, plus a GPS Map update - plus Audio System firmware upgrade. After years of working perfectly playing MP3s on USB, it would suddenly stop playing. Did the same with three different USB sticks. OK now, but haven't tested it for long.

I had drivers air bag and indicator switches fixed last week.

They said an hour and returned car to me in under 30 minutes.

Still have passenger air bag to go.
