Idle learn issues

I have just replaced the timing chain , injectors and injection pump on my 2003 NP Pajero and Im trying to fix a rough idle when in gear due to revs being to low it’s fine in park and neutral but rough idle in drive or reverse I’ve tried the ECU relearn a couple of times but does not seem to be learning ? Any help would be great

Been driving it around for two days now still has not learnt the idle ?

I am no diesel expert, but first thing I would check is the alignment of timing marks where you replaced the chain.
Changing the pump the injection timing could be out, as far as I'm aware its not just a matter of remove and replace.
